GARY DUNN
Owner & CEO
Gary Dunn received a Bachelor of Architecture degree from Louisiana Statue University in 1994. In addition to receiving both the Board of Supervisors Scholarship and the Dean's Student Award in '93 and '94, Mr. Dunn earned valuable work experience as a student intern for the Office of Facility Development. Prior to graduating, Mr. Dunn gained a position at a local architectural/engineering firm where he worked as a project manager from 1993 until 2002. Acquiring his Architectural license in 1999, Mr. Dunn's experience includes design, project management, cost estimating, construction documents, bidding, and construction administration for multi-phased, complex projects. These projects include educational facilities, aviation centers, laboratories, multi-purpose facilities, and food-service facilities. In addition, Mr. Dunn has also acquired experience in program management. In 2003, Mr. Dunn formed GD Architecture, LLC and continues to add a variety of successful commercial and residential projects to his portfolio.

PROFESSIONAL ORGANIZATIONS
Mr. Dunn is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB) and Construction Specification Institute (CSI). He served as an intern liaison, (2 years), director (3 years), secretary (1 year), vice president/president elect '03, president '04, and served as AIA Louisiana Liaison for the years 2005-06 for the AIA BR Chapter.


AMY E. FRANSEN
Project Manager
Amy Fransen is a Project Manager who joined the staff of GD Architecture in 2018. She holds a Bachelor of Architecture with a concentration in French from Louisiana State University.

Upon graduation from LSU she began her career in Birmingham, Alabama where she began to develop valuable skills in design development and construction documentation while working for CMH Architects and eventually, at Horizon Design. Upon the move back to her hometown in 2010, she had the opportunity to hone in on her construction administration and project management skills while working for Robert L. Lunsford, Architect and Chenevert Architects, LLC. She has experience in both public and private work that includes site planning, new construction, additions, and restoration and renovation projects. Throughout her career she has worked on projects from large scale retail centers and resort condominiums to single family residential and homeless shelters.

Presently, Miss Fransen sits as an appointed commissioner of the Historic Preservation Commission for the City of Baton Rouge. She is a board member of the Baton Rouge Delta Gamma Alumnae Chapter and serves on the Gamma Zeta chapter of Delta Gamma House Corporation. Additionally she is a certified Barre Amped, group fitness instructor.
